Who we are
Pipeline Mechanics is a small Melbourne business. We provide enquiry follow up and Google ads for restumping and underpinning businesses. This policy explains what we do with the details you send us through this website.
What we collect
When you fill in our audit form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your mobile number
- Your email address
- Your website, if you give it to us
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don't send it to us.
Why we collect it
We use your details to:
- Confirm we received your request
- Contact you about your enquiry by phone, SMS or email
- Prepare your free audit and book your call
We don't sell your details, and we don't use them for anything unrelated to your enquiry without asking you first.
Your consent
The form asks you to agree to us contacting you about your enquiry. We keep a record that you agreed, along with the date and time. That record shows we had your permission and when we got it.
Who handles your details
We use three service providers to run this website and the form:
- Vercel hosts this website and processes the form in the United States when you send it.
- Resend delivers the emails the form creates, including your confirmation email.
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email, which is where your enquiry is stored.
These providers may store or process your details outside Australia, including in the United States. This website also loads its fonts from Google, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry and consent record only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to show we had your permission. After that we delete them. If you become a client, we keep what we need to deliver our service and meet our legal obligations.
Opting out
You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time. Tell us on a call, reply to any message, or email us at hello@pipelinemechanics.com.au, and we will stop.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete them. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Keeping your details safe
We limit who can see your details and take reasonable steps to protect them from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, email us first so we can try to fix it. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
